Early Autumn Views at Highland Haven – Floyd VA

Having been chased out of the house this week by electricians installing a new panel box in the basement, Nathan (our youngest) and I decided to take a scenic drive to kill a little time around the the old stomping grounds in Floyd County, Virginia.

Making our way from Salem and up the narrow pass along Allegheney Springs Road in Shawsville, we found ourselves taking in an early autumn view at one of our favorite places only minutes from the old place in Copper Hill – the Highland Haven Airstream Park. One fine day – if we’re still living in these parts – we hope to take up residence at this tranquil location.
