Dogwood Blooms, Saint Andrew’s Catholic Church


Built in 1902 after the High Victorian Gothic style, St. Andrew’s is a local icon here in Southwest Virginia. Prominently located atop a small rise overlooking downtown Roanoke City, visiting friends & family like to refer to the cathedral as the ‘Disneyland Castle’.  This image was made in early spring as the Dogwoods were in full-bloom.
